      <abstract>
        <p>Persistent disruptions and infrastructural constraints have heightened the need for resilient supply chains in Nigeria&#039;s manufacturing sector. However, the mechanisms through which digital logistics transformation translates into resilience remain underexplored. This study examined the effect of digital logistics transformation on supply chain resilience and investigated the mediating role of AI-enabled transshipment capability. Anchored on Dynamic Capability Theory and Information Processing Theory, the study adopted a quantitative cross-sectional design and collected data from 401 supply chain and logistics managers in selected Nigerian manufacturing firms. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) were employed for data analysis. The findings revealed that digital logistics transformation significantly enhances supply chain resilience and positively influences AI-enabled transshipment capability. AI-enabled transshipment capability also exerted a significant positive effect on supply chain resilience and partially mediated the relationship between digital logistics transformation and resilience. The results suggest that the resilience benefits of digital technologies are realised through intelligent logistics capabilities rather than technology adoption alone. The study contributes to the literature by introducing AI-enabled transshipment capability as a novel mechanism linking digital transformation to resilience and provides practical insights for managers and policymakers seeking to strengthen intelligent and adaptive supply chains in emerging economies.</p>
