      <abstract>
        <p>This study explores the rise of online grocery shopping and its implications for traditional retail markets in Bangladesh and globally. Using a mixed-methods approach, we combine survey data from 300 Bangladeshi consumers and insights from 10 in-depth interviews with traditional retailers and online shoppers. An online survey of 300 respondents was conducted to collect data using a structured questionnaire through Google Forms. Secondary data have been collected from published journal articles, government publications, and industry reports. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify recurring patterns, strategies, and challenges related to online grocery adoption and its effects on traditional retail models. The study identifies major shifts in consumer preferences, outlines the technological and infrastructural drivers behind this transformation, and highlights the challenges faced by traditional retail. Key findings point to increased convenience, time-saving, and digital trust as motivating factors for online shopping. This research contributes to understanding how e-commerce is reshaping retail landscapes and provides recommendations for retailers to adopt omnichannel strategies.</p>
